Barcelona v Atletico Madrid – Probable lineups – Arda Turan set to face former team
Barcelona host Atletico Madrid tonight at the Camp Nou in the second leg of the Copa Del Rey semi-finals.
Luis Enrique’s side go into tonight’s encounter knowing a draw will be enough to secure a place in the final. Barcelona recorded a 2-1 win over Atletico in the first leg.
Barcelona will face either Celta Vigo or Deportivo Alaves in the final should they navigate past Atletico.
Turkey international Arda Turan is expected to start against his former side tonight.
Turan spent four seasons at Atletico where he won the La Liga title, Europa League, Copa del Rey and Super Cup.
The former Galatasaray man is well known for his infamous boot throwing incident two years ago.
Arda Turan – who was an Atletico player at the time – hurled his boot towards the linesman during a clash between Atletico Madrid and Barce. The Turkey international miraculously avoided being sent off.
Barcelona fans will be hoping that the flamboyant midfielder can keep his cool tonight as they look to book their place in the Copa del Rey final.
