Basaksehir Star Irfan Can Kahveci Pulls Off UEFA Europa League ‘Skill Of The Day’ Against Wolfsberg

Basaksehir recorded their first victory in the Europa League group stage after beating Austria outfit Wolfsberg 1-0 at home on Thursday.

Irfan Can Kahveci was the star of the show scoring the winning goal with a delightful piece of individual skill before placing the ball in the bottom corner giving the goalkeeper no chance.

UEFA Europa League were so impressed that they referred to Irfan Can Kahveci’s move as the ‘skill of the day’ on their official Twitter account.

Kahveci has two goals and one assist in 10 appearances in all competitions this term. His goal against Wolfsberg was his first in the Europa League this season.

Basaksehir are currently second in Group J just one point behind leaders Roma who have 5 points.

Wolfsberg are on equal points with Basaksehir (4) but find themselves in third place on head to head results and Borussia Monchengladbach are bottom of the group on two points.
