The Black Eagles will however, welcome back Jeremain Lens who returns from suspension.
Caner Erkun and Gary Medel will have to be careful as another booking will rule them out of the next game with an automatic suspension.
Liverpool loanee Loris Karius is set to start despite reports suggesting he will be dropped.
The keeper has started all 10 games for Besiktas since joining from the Reds.
