‘The Beast From The East’ – Everton Striker Coins New Nickname For Himself After Brighton Win

Cenk Tosun has really started to get into the swing of things in the Premier League.

The Turkey international has now scored in his last two games for Everton.

Tosun netted in the 2-1 defeat against Burnley at Turf Moor, followed by his first goal at Goodison Park against Brighton on Saturday.

The 26-year-old scored the second goal in the 2-0 victory and also picked up the man of the match award.

The star striker shared a few photographs from the game on his Instagram page alongside a caption praising the team performance.

What caught our attention was one of the hashtags he used: ‘Beast From The East’.

Not a bad nickname!

We like ‘Bull of War’ which is a translation of his name into English.

In Turkey he was referred to as Tosun Pasha – Pasha meaning king or military general.
