Belgium international rejects Celtic and Leeds offers as he looks to force move to Champions League club

Jason Denayer has made no secret of his intention to return to Galatasaray this summer.

The Belgium international has posted a string of posts to social media over the past two months hinting at a Galatasaray move.

However, the Istanbul giants have been unable to strike a deal with Man City for Denayer.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, Denayer has dug his heels in and has now rejected offers from both Celtic and Leeds United.

Per the source, the Belgium international is trying to force his way back to the Istanbul giants.

Fotomac go onto state that Denayer deployed a similar strategy last summer in order to secure a loan move to Galatasaray.

The Belgium international played a key role in Galatasaray’s title success last season. Denayer also secured his place as a first-team regular in Fatih Terim’s starting eleven.

The versatile defender will play UEFA Champions League football this season with Galatasaray if he does end up back with the Lions this summer.
