Besiktas kick off their Champions League campaign with a tricky away trip against Portuguese giants Benfica.

Black Eagles boss Senol Gunes has decided to start with Tolga Zengin in goal and Marcelo alongside Tosic as his centre-back pairing.

Adriano won the toss-up to start at left-back and on-loan Inter full-back Caner Erkin will play as a winger. In a surprise decision Gunes has decided to bench Gokhan Gonul for former Germany international Beck.

Atiba Hutchinson and Gokhan Inler will shield the defence in midfield while Oguzhan Ozyakup will be deployed with pulling the strings in the final third.

Aboubakar will know all about Benfica form his time playing at Porto and will start upfront for Besiktas while Ricardo Quarema will play on the right.

The Istanbul giants have in form striker Cenk Tosun available off the bench along with Gokhan Gonul, Talica and Tolgay Arslan.

In the other Group B game Italian giants Napoli take on Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kiev.
