Beşiktaş beat Akhisar 3-1 at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim stadium to regain their place at the top of the table with 32 points.
Cenk Tosun opened the scoring on 24 minutes when he met Olcay Şahan’s cross with a driving header.
Tosun has now scored six goals this season – five in his last five games.
Jose Sosa doubled the Black Eagles lead with a free-kick effort that took everyone by surprise.
Bilal Kısa pulled one back for Akhisar with a spectacular strike from outside the penalty area on 75 minutes.
However, Gökhan Töre secured Beşiktaş the three points in the second minute of additional time with a powerful shot from inside the Akhisar penalty area.
Beşiktaş have won their last six league games in a row, scored a total of 23 goals and conceded 12 times this season.
The Black Eagles travel to Konya next week to take on Konyaspor.
