Besiktas were held to a 3-3 draw against Fenerbahce at the Vodafone Park stadium after blowing a three-goal lead.
Gokhan Gonul put the Black Eagles ahead against his former side on 10 minutes, Burak Yilmaz doubled the lead against his ex-team and managed to find the back of the net again just before the half-time whistle.

Fenerbahce headed into the Istanbul derby in the relegation zone and had the added disadvantage of playing away.
Despite their predicament the traveling away fans never lost faith. They did not leave the stands. Instead, they managed to keep faith and there were times when their voices drowned out the home faithful.
Fenerbahçe owe their comeback to these guys
At 3-0 down at half time most fans would have left
FB fans never gave up. They were louder than the home crowd… they inspired the players to fight back and boy did they respond

The Yellow Canaries managed to pull off a miraculous comeback sparked by January signing Mihi Zajc who scored what seemed like a consolation goal on 55 minutes.
Sadik Ciftpinar scored just six minutes later before Hasan Ali Kaldirim’s spectacular equalizer.

Heading into the clash both sides would probably have took a draw but the nature of the draw will have Besiktas feeling defeated.
The Black-Whites have fallen 11 points behind league leaders Basaksehir but second-place remains a realistic goal considering Galatasaray are just five points ahead.
Fenerbahce meanwhile pulled off a huge psychological win. The draw will do wonders for team morale but it is worth underlining that they are just one point above the relegation zone.
