Talks between Besiktas and Glen Johnson have continued this week and the Black Eagles are close to completing the transfer.
Eurosport TR have stated that talks between the Istanbul based club and Glen Johnson have accelerated and that the England international could be a Besiktas player by the end of the week.
Johnson is understood to be close to signing a two year deal with Besiktas at €2.3 million per season.
Liverpool have not renewed Johnson’s contract and Beşiktaş could snap him up as a free agent if they were to reach an agreement with Johnson.
