Beşiktaş deserved both red cards says Slaven Bilic [divider]

Beşiktaş deserved both red cards in the 2-1 win over Başakşehir according to Black Eagles manager Slaven Bilic.

“I spoke with the fourth official after game, we had a civilised chat and I have nothing but praise for the referee today,” Bilic said after the game.

“We cannot seem to finish games with 11 men but my players gave it their all and managed to keep hold of an important score.

“We fought well but we have to be more organised in midfield.

“The red cards shown this week in contrast to the decisions we have been getting recently were fair. 

“İsmail apologised after the game and Franco had to make that challenge.” 

Pedro Franco was sent off on 78 minutes by Cüneyt Çakır for a second yellow card offence. İsmail Koybaşı was sent off on 90 minutes for a second yellow as well.

Beşiktaş have been shown four red cards this season.
