Besiktas in talks with West Ham United over January move for Javier Hernandez

Besiktas are planning to bolster their attacking options in January following a turbulent start to their 2018/19 season.

The Black Eagles have struggled both domestically and in Europe this season and find themselves fifth in the Turkish Super Lig.

Besiktas have struggled in front of goal and manager Senol Gunes is also lacking in options.

According to the Turkish sports outlet Fotomac, Besiktas have set their sights on West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez.

Per the source, Besiktas are already in talks with West Ham United regarding the striker and are hoping to sign him on loan with an option to buy included.

Hernandez has lost his place in West Ham’s start eleven in recent weeks and has played just 264 minutes of Premier League football this season.
