Besiktas join the race for West Ham United & Manchester United target Mert Günok

Besiktas have joined the race to sign Fenerbahce’s goalkeeper Mert Günok.
The Turkish sports website Fotomac has stated that Besiktas are interested in the 26-year-old and have established communication with the Turkish international’s representatives.
Beşiktaş are in the market for a new goalkeeper following high profile mistakes from their current number one, Tolga Zengin.
The Black Eagles are currently playing their third choice keeper in goal following injuries to Zengin and Cenk Gönen.

Günok was closely linked with a move to Manchester United in recent months by the Daily Star newspaper. The Fenerbahce goalkeeper was also linked with West Ham United this week.
The 26-year-old has conceded 14 goals in 14 appearances for Fenerbahçe this season. The 25-year-old has also kept a total of four clean sheets in all competitions.
The Black Eagles will take on Başakşehir after the international break.
