Besiktas have moved up seven places in UEFA’s club rankings after eliminating Liverpool from the Europa League.

The Black Eagles lost the first leg of the tie against the Reds at Anfield Road by a 1-0 scoreline but defeated Liverpool by the same scoreline in Istanbul. Besiktas went on to win the game on penalties after Dejan Loven missed from the spot.
