Besiktas Plan To Part Ways With Nine Players Including Ricardo Quaresma

Besiktas are planning to part ways with nine players over the summer transfer window according to the Fanatik newspaper.

Tolga Zengin, Gökhan Töre and Mustafa Pektemek will be leaving as they will be out of contract.

The Black Eagles also plan to sell star man Ricardo Quaresma, Jeremain Lens, Gary Medel, Cyle Larin and Roco.

Besiktas received good news over the weekend after UEFA announced they successfully met Financial Fair Play (FFP) agreement, meaning the Black Eagles will be no longer under inspection.

The Club Financial Control Body investigatory chamber revealed the settlement agreements signed with four clubs which have reached the end of their respective terms – Besiktas, Trabzonspor, Inter and FC Astana.

The Black-Whites have slashed their wage budget over the past few seasons and have made £27m profit over the past two seasons.

Besiktas are planning to rebuild their aging squad – average age 27 – over the summer and will have money to invest in the project as a result of the recent developments.
