Besiktas are preparing a move for Sunderland star centre-back Papy Djilobodji.
The Senegal international joined the Black-Cats back in 2016 from Chelsea in a deal worth £8 million.
Djilobodji has two years remaining on his contract with Sunderland and has been linked with a summer exit following their relegation to League 1.
According to the daily Turkish newspaper Takvim, Besiktas have been keeping tabs on the powerful defender in recent weeks.
Per the source, Besiktas will make a move for Djilobodji if they fail to land PSV defender Nicolas Mirin.
The Black Eagles are preparing for life without Domagoj Vida who has been closely linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks.
Takvim go onto state that Besiktas are only interested in signing Djilobodji on a season-long loan deal.
