Besiktas reject €20 million offer for Demba Ba

Besiktas have rejected a €20 million offer for their star striker Demba Ba according to a report in the Turkish newspaper AMK.

The report states that the UAE based football club Al Nasr made a €20 million offer for Ba however, the bid was rejected by Besiktas.

Aston Villa and Hull City were also closely linked with the Senegalese international according to the Daily Mail.

Besiktas board member Torunoğulları confirmed receiving offers for Ba from English clubs in an interview with Fanatik but underlined that all bids had been rejected.

The 29-year-old has been in prolific form since joining on a £5.2 million move from Chelsea in the summer.

Ba has 19 goals and two assists in 25 appearances for the Black Eagles in all competitions so far this season.

Besiktas are second in the Turkish Super League with 41 points in 18 games.
