Besiktas goalkeeper Fabri underwent a medical ahead of his switch to Fulham today.
Turkish-Football sources reveal that the transfer is expected to cost the Cottagers £6.25m.
The Black Eagles released an official statement on the stock exchange confirming talks are underway.
The statement read: “Besiktas are in talks with Fulham Football Club Limited over the transfer of Fabricio Agosto Ramirez.”
Meanwhile club official Ali Naibi revealed that unless there is a last minute change of plans Fabri will be joining Fulham.
Naibi confirmed that Besiktas and Fulham have reached an agreement.
“We have reached an agreement with Fulham, the last details remain,” he said.
“Unless a disagreement arises Fabri will play in the Premier League.”
The Black Eagles 3-1 victory in the friendly against Krasnador on Friday was his final game for the club.
The Spanish keeper stated after the game that he had reached an agreement with Fulham.
“As you know the Premier League is a major league and one I am interested in joining. Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing but there is a verbal agreement with Fulham. I want to thank Beşiktaş for my time here,” Fabri said.
The 30-year-old joined Besiktas on a free transfer from Deportivo de la Coruna in 2016 and went onto win the Super Lig title.
