Albayrak responded to a question on Turkish radio stadion Radyospor asking whether Töre would be leaving in January by saying, “Gökhan will be staying at Beşiktaş, we do not want to sell our best players when we are in the middle of a title race.”

United have been keeping tabs on the Turkish international according to the Express.

The Turkish international winger was regarded as one of Chelsea’s brightest prospects when he was recruited to the youth academy in 2009 by Frank Arnesen, the Blues former head of talent scout.

Töre became a regular in the youth team helping Chelsea win the 2010-2011 season making 16 starts and scoring four times.

The young winger joined Beşiktaş on loan from Rubin Kazan last season and had a total of four goals and eight assists in 33 appearances for the Black Eagles.

Töre joined the Turkish giants on a permanent deal from Rubin Kazan for £4 million this summer and has four-years left on his contract.

The 23-year-old had six goals and six assists in all competitions for Beşiktaş this season.
