Besiktas have been linked with a move for Sampdoria’s goalkeeper Sergio Romero.
The Black Eables are looking to bring in a new goalkeeper following a string of high profile errors and lengthy injuries to their current first choice keeper Onur Kivrak.
Goal Turkey have stated that Besiktas have opened negotiations with the Argentinian international but are unwilling to meet the 28-year-old’s contract demands.
The report states that Romero – who will be out of a contract at the end of the month – is looking for €2.5 million per-season.
