Kaboul has also been closely linked with Premier League outfit West Ham.

The 29-year-old has fallen behind Jan Vertonghen, Federico Fazio and Eric Dier in the pecking order.

The experienced defender last started for Spurs in the Premier League against Stoke City back in November 2014.

The 29-year-old defender’s contract runs out in 2016.

The Black Eagles are currently second in the Süper Lig just one point behind league leaders Fenerbahçe. Beşiktaş face a tricky away trip to the Black Sea to take on Rizespor this Sunday.

Beşiktaş will face Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32. The Eagles face Tottenham in the Europa League group stages, drawing against Spurs at White Hart Lane and beating the Premier League outfit 1-0 in Turkey.
