Besiktas take on Kayserispor at the Vodafone Park stadium in the Super Lig on Monday knowing that a victory will take them into 3rd place.
The Black Eagles had pretty much been written off a few weeks ago but after winning four games in a row they now find themselves in a position where they could leapfrog fellow title contenders Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor.
A victory against last-placed Kayserispor would move Besiktas just three points behind leaders Sivasspor and a single point behind second-placed Basaksehir.
Besiktas have no major injury concerns other than long term absentee Dorkhan Tokoz who is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Kayserispor meanwhile are in the midst of an injury crisis and Pedro Henrique is out suspended.
The Black-Whites have won 10 of their last 12 home matches in the Super Lig and are undefeated against Kayserispor in their last 11 encounters.
Liverpool loanee Loris Karius and Arsenal loanee Mohamed Elneny are both expected to start for Besiktas.
