Besiktas Want Everton Striker Cenk Tosun On Loan

Besiktas want Everton striker Cenk Tosun on loan according to Turkish sports newspaper Fotomac.

Per the source, the Black Eagles are keen on Tosun returning on a temporary move to strengthen their attack next season.

The Turkey international struggled for playing time at Everton this season after falling down the pecking order.

Toffees boss Marco Silva did played Calvin-Lewin as his first choice striker alternating with Richarlison who also played on the wing.

Tosun scored just three goals for Everton this term.

The Premier League side are open to selling the striker but it remains to be seen whether they would loan him out.

Tosun meanwhile, is determined to stay at Everton or at least in the Premier League a source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football.

The 27-year-old does not want to return to Turkey at this stage in his career.

Tosun recently became a father and his family are settled into life in England.

Besiktas sold Tosun to Everton for a £20.25m [Transfermarkt] transfer fee in January 2018 and he still has another three-years remaining on his contract.
