‘Best 10 in world football and it’s not even close’ – Arsenal fans react to Mesut Ozil display against Southampton on social media
Arsenal beat Southampton 2-0 at the St Mary’s stadium to overtake Manchester United and move into fifth-place.
Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring and Olivier Giroud made sure the Gunners took all three points back to London after netting the second goal.
Germany international of Turkish origin Mesut Ozil added to his assist tally, setting up Sanchez with the opening goal.

Ozil now has a total of 11 goals and 12 assists in all competitions this season.

The Gunners are now just three points behind fourth-placed Manchester City and take on Stoke City next in the Britannia stadium.
