Bilic – ‘The Sariyer game was a good warmup before Trabzonspor’ [divider]
Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic was pleased with his teams performance in the 4-0 win against Sariyer in the Turkish Cup.
“It was a good warm up before a very tough game against Trabzonspor,” Bilic said.
“I want to thank Sariyer for their hospitality and hopefully we put on a good show for the fans.
“We took the game seriously and did not underestimate our opposition, I was pleased with the way we approached the game.
“We took at early lead and that made our job a lot easier, it was good for a few of the young players and those who have not played a lot recently to get some playing time.”
The Black Eagles moves into first position in the Turkish Cup Group F.
Süper Lig leaders Beşiktaş will face one of the leagues most in form sides Trabzonspor on Sunday 7 December.
