Bilic unhappy with Besiktas fixtures [divider]
Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic is unhappy with the fixture list.
The Black Eagles played an important Europa League game against Tottenham on Thursday, followed by a Süper Lig game on Sunday against Gaziantepspor.
Beşiktaş will face Rizespor on Thursday 18 December in the Turkish Cup and then play another league game on the weekend.
“It was not just us who benefited from beating Tottenham, Turkish football benefited,” Bilic said.
“All I wanted from the federation was for there to be enough time to recover between games.
“If this is too much to ask I understand.
“All we wanted was one extra day rest, we are competing for Turkey in the week the way we are being treated back home is not on.”
Beşiktaş beat Tottenham to clinch first place in the Europa League Group C and will face Liverpool next in the Round of 32.
