Bilic urges Beşiktaş to play remaining home games at Başakşehir [divider]
Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic has requested that his sides remaining home games be played at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim stadium.
“We have not played at home this season so we have had to make do as best as we can,” Bilic said.
“I think we should play all our remaining games at Başakşehir, it is a new stadium and even when it is not full fans can still create a good atmosphere.”
Bilic also praised his players for the victory but urged the team for consistency.
“We knew this would be a tough game, Kasımpaşa are a dangerous side and it is always tricky playing after the international break,” Bilic said.
“We deserved the win and I congratulated all my players after the game letting them know how pleased I was with them all.
“Our goal has always been finishing the league in first place, we are leaders now but we have to stay at the top, that is all that is important.”
