Trabzonspor wonderkid Abdulkadir Omur has been closely linked with a move to Liverpool over the past week.

The Reds were reported to have made a £27m move in the Turkish media. Reports in England also claimed that the Premier League outfit are keen on snapping up the 19-year-old.

The bookmakers have responded to recent reports by slashing the odds on Omur joining Liverpool as his next club.

The Mirror shared the latest odds from the bookie Paddy Power which saw Omur’s odds on joining Liverpool slashed from 8/1 to 9/2.

Roma, Inter, Barcelona, PSG and Manchester City are listed as being potential rivals in the race for the rising star.

Abdulkadir Omur’s next club

Liverpool – 9/2 (in from 8/1)

Roma – 14/1

Inter Milan – 16/1

Barcelona – 25/1

PSG – 25/1

Man City – 33/1

Omur confirmed interest from Liverpool in a press conference yesterday.

“Liverpool is a very important club, but the most important thing is Trabzonspor’s interests,” he said.

“If my club tell me that I can go, I’ll go and if they tell me to stay, I’ll stay. We will see.

“My priority is Trabzonspor but I have a dream of playing in Europe. I hope I play there one day. My dream is to succeed here and then go to Europe.”

Omur has two goals and four assists in all competitions for Trabzonspor this term.
