Bookmakers Slash Odds On Arsenal Star Joining Super Lig Giants, Everton No Longer Favorites To Land Deal

Jack Wilshere will be leaving Arsenal at the end of the month ending a 17-year spell at the club.

The 26-year-old will be out of contract on July 1st after turning down an offer to extend his deal.

Wilshere explained his decision on his official Instagram account.

Turkish-Football reported today that Fenerbahce have been in talks with Wilshere in Istanbul.

The Yellow Canaries are closing in on a deal for the England midfielder and the bookmakers have reacted by slashing the odds on him joining the club.

Ladbrokes had Everton as favorites to sign Wilshere yesterday at odds of 3.50.

The odds on Fenerbahce dropped to 2.50 following reports today putting them in pole position.

Everton remain priced at 3.50 alongside AC Milan, meanwhile West Ham come in at 4.00.

Wilshere traveled to Turkey for talks with Fenerbahce and is expected to make a decision whether to make the move over the next few days.

The midfielder arrived in Istanbul on a private jet along with his father and representatives Wasserman COO Fahri Ecvet as well as agent Neil Fewings.

Yellow Canaries sporting director Damien Comolli – former Arsenal scout – has been leading talks.
