Burnley transfer news: Euro giants join Clarets in race to sign Italy international star
Turkish Super League giants Galatasaray have joined the race to sign Italy international Andrea Ranocchia. The Lions are on the hunt for a defensive partner for Maicon.
According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Ranocchia’s agent has offered his client to Galatasaray. Per the source, Galatasaray boss Igor Tudor is interested in signing the towering defender.

Ranocchia spent last season on loan in Premier league with Hull City. The 29-year-old was however unable to help the Tigers avoid relegation.
Meanwhile, Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb claim Burnley have a €6m offer for Ranocchia.
The Italy international is expected to leave Inter this summer after falling out of favour with manager Luciano Spaletti.
Burnley suffered a 1-0 defeat at home against West Brom last weekend. The Clarets face a tough away fixture at Wembley against Tottenham on Sunday.
Galatasaray meanwhile host Sivasspor at home on Friday evening.
