Burnley vs Man City: Confirmed Line-ups – Pep Guardiola Missing 7 Players Ahead Of Clash, Gundogan Starts

Manchesters City take on Burnley at Turf Moor in the first Premier League game on Saturday hoping to end a two game away run without a win.

The visitors have reason to be optimistic after winning six of their last seven trips to Burnley.

Pep Guardiola has a number of injury problems heading into the clash, a total of five players have been ruled out.

Striker Gabriel Jesus (knee), winger Leroy Sane (ankle), midfielder Phil Foden (ankle) and left-backs Benjamin Mendy and Fabian eelph (both knee), David Silva and John Stones remain on the sidelines for the Burnley clash.

Argentinian striker Sergio Aguero is however, available and has scored in each of his last four games against the home side in all competitions.

Aguero does start upfront, leading the attack ahead of Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne.

Guardiola also has midfielder of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan available.

The 27-year-old replaced David Silva who came off injured in the first-half in the 3-0 win over West From mid-week.

Gundogan will step in as Silva has been ruled out from today’s game.

January signing Laporte has been included on the bench and could make his debut today.

Burnley meanwhile will not welcome back James Tarkowski after recovering from a groin injury that resulted him to miss the draw against Newcastle.

Tarkowski has not been listed in the match day squad.
