In a significant move for the club, Serie A’s Cagliari has reportedly secured a deal to bring promising Turkish striker Semih Kılıçsoy to Sardinia on a loan with an option to buy. The transfer is said to be complete, pending only the player’s signature and a medical exam.
According to Turkish reports from Medya Siyah Beyaz, the agreement with Besiktas is structured with a €1 million loan fee.

The Italian club will have a non-obligatory option to make the transfer permanent for an additional €12 million, plus a further €2 million in performance-related bonuses. This follows earlier reports from Italian media that suggested a slightly higher buy-option price of €14 million.
As part of the deal, Besiktas will also receive a 20 percent sell-on clause for any future transfer fee if Kılıçsoy is sold while at Cagliari.
A Major Coup for the Serie A Side
Securing Kılıçsoy is a significant achievement for Cagliari, as the young striker was a target for several clubs across Europe, including Premier League sides Leeds United and Aston Villa, as well as Dutch club Utrecht.
The 20-year-old, who will celebrate his birthday next month, is considered one of Turkey’s most impressive young talents.
A product of the Besiktas youth academy, he has already earned five senior caps for the Turkish national team.
Kılıçsoy is a versatile forward who can play as a center-forward or in wider roles. His potential was on display for Turkey’s Under-21 team, where he scored five goals in just six games.
