AC Milan will have to dig deep to turn around their 2-0 first-leg defeat at the hands of Arsenal in the San Siro.

The Italian giants take on the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday for the second-leg tie.

Arsenal ended the Rossoneri’s 13 match unbeaten streak last week but the Italian giants returned to winning ways over the weekend win over Genoa.

One player who has not given up hope of a miraculous comeback is AC Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Turkey international believes that his side will have to be brave to stand a chance against Arsenal but underlined that the team has full belief in themselves.

Calhanoglu was quoted by Sport as saying: “If we’re brave, we have a chance, we believe in ourselves.” 

The star playmaker will start against the Gunners and will join Mesut Ozil as one of two Germany born Turks.

Ozil represents his country of birth at international level while Calhanoglu player for Turkey.

Calhanoglu has three goals and eight assists in all competitions for AC Milan this season.

Ozil will also start for the Gunners tonight. The playmaker provided two assists in the first leg setting up both goals.
