Liverpool knocked Manchester City out of the Champions League on Tuesday after beating the Citizens 5-1 on aggregate.
The Reds beat the Premier League leaders 3-0 at home and 2-1 on the road.
One City player who knew all about Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was Ilkay Gundogan.
Klopp really put Gundogan on the map at Borussia Dortmund.
The midfielder of Turkish origin won the Bundesliga, German Cup and reached the Champions League final under the stewardship of Klopp.
Gundogan showed class in defeat, wishing Liverpool all the best in the semi-finals.
