Caner Erkin buys Asena a green Lamborghini [divider]

Caner Erkin was obviously in a good mood following Fenerbahçe’s 2-0 win over rivals Beşiktaş as he splashed out 1.8 million TL on buying his wife Asena a brand new Lamborghini.

The garish, green colour may not be to everyones taste but Asena was not complaining as she showed off her new motor around the well-to-do area of Nişantaşı, İstanbul.

Asena is a popular belly-dancer in Turkey who has been married to Erkin for the past five years.

Erkin joined CSKA Moscow for €3 million aged 19 and later went onto play for Galatasaray on loan after which he joined Fenerbahçe on a permanent move for €3 million in 2010.

The Turkish international is a versatile left-back who can also play on the left-wing in attacking roles.

The 26-year-old was an integral part of Fenerbahçe’s title winning league campaign last season.

Erkin was closely linked with a more to England this summer as a free agent but decided to renew his contract with Fenerbahçe and stay in Turkey.
