Cardiff City Want Liverpool Midfielder But Agent May Have Other Plans Says Neil Warnock, Galatasaray Consider Rival Offer

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock is keen on signing Liverpool midfielder Marco Grujic on a season-long loan but face competition from Galatasaray.

The Serbia international spent last season at the Championship outfit and the Bluebirds want him back however, his agent is causing a problem.

Cardiff may have to wait a little while longer to secure the transfer but there is growing interest from Turkey.

“It’s a waiting game, but we won’t wait forever,” he was quoted as saying by the BBC.

“I think his agent – as they do – probably thinks he is going to try and make more money somewhere else.

“Liverpool want him to come and I think it will be good for him. I think Marco does as well.

“We will see what happens by Friday this week. I never lose sleep over targets if I am honest.

“I always think it’s their loss if they don’t come.”

Turkish-Football report that Grujic has been offered to Galatasaray through agents operating with a mandate in Turkey.

The Lions have not made a formal move for the midfielder but he is among several names on the shortlist.

The Istanbul based outfit are keen on loaning a midfielder or making a free transfer.
