“I signed him aged 16 and we played him in the first-team for four years,” Hurma.

“He is such an underrated player, he is now at a league where he can get himself noticed.

“I’ll tell you this, give him a year at Celta Vigo and he’ll end up at Manchester United or Barcelona.

“He is a player with the ability and mentality to play at the highest level.

“Coaches in Turkey used him as a defender because he is tall, ignoring his midfield and offensive capabilities.

“He is an intelligent, creative midfielder with a wonderful long shot.

“I don’t have to get into his defensive strengths.

“He is at a club and a league that appreciate a player with his credentials.”

Yokuslu scored eight times and provided five assists in 111 appearances in all competitions for Kayserispor before his move to Trabzonspor.

The 1.91m tall midfielder was one of the best performing players in the league over the 2017-18 campaign.

Yokuslu netted twice and provided three assists in 33 games for Trabzonspor this season.

The 24-year-old has 14 international caps under his belt, featuring in the last eight Turkey national team games.

The powerful midfielder was statistically the fifth best player in the league according to Whoscored.
