Emre Mor never seems to stray far from controversy but even by his standards what unfolded today was pretty bizarre.

WBD Capital CEO Erik Alonso claimed earlier today that a deal has been struck between Celta Vigo and Galatasaray over Mor.

Mor responded by claiming that he has no idea who Alonso is on his official Instagram stories page.

Alonso responded on Twitter by claiming yet again that an agreement between Celta Vigo and Galatasaray has been reached.

He also said the Turkey international will ‘be aware of who this is’ as he will now be negotiating the contract between the footballer and the Yellow-Reds.

The bizarre transfer saga has caused confusion among Galatasaray fans and the club have yet to release an official statement.

The Lions president Mustafa Cengiz and vice-president Abdulrahhim Albayrak have both confirmed to Turkish-Football that an offer has been made for Mor and that they are confident a deal will be reached.

Neither, however, wanted to comment on the latest social media circus.
