Turkey international Cenk Tosun has been linked with a summer exit from Goodison Park this summer after failing to make a single appearance for Everton this season.

Tosun informed Turkish-Football that Eintracht Frankfurt have not made an official offer and that he will be staying in the Premier League this season.

The 28-year-old will not be returning to Turkey and remains happy at Everton where he has settled with his wife and newly born son.

The striker believes he will get his chance this season after holding a meeting with Marco Silva.

Tosun remains motivated and has been working hard in training hoping to get his break.

Silva has yet to make use of Tosun, in fact, he was left out of the squad in the 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa.

The Toffees have however, had trouble scoring goals this season netting just once in their first three games.

Tosun is hoping that Silva gives him a chance to prove himself considering how profligate strikers ahead of him in the pecking order have been.

Everton take on Lincoln City in the League Cup on Wednesday and will then face Wolves at Goodison Park on Sunday.
