Chelsea Ace ‘Agrees’ Deal With Galatasaray Who need To sell Defender To Fund Transfer

Galatasaray are still harbouring hopes of signing Chelsea star defender Gary Cahill this summer according to reports from Turkey.

The daily Turkish newspaper Fanatik state that Galatasaray have struck a deal to sign Cahill from Chelsea.

Per the source, the Istanbul giants must first find a buyer for Maicon in order to fund Cahill’s move to Galatasaray.

Meanwhile, the British outlet Telegraph has claimed that Cahil is not interested in a move away from the London based club this summer.

The Telegram goes onto state that the England international wants to reclaim his place in Chelsea’s starting XI and that he is not keen on a move to the Istanbul.

Cahill has not featured in any game for Chelsea since the appointment of Maurizio Sarri. The 32-year-old was a first-team regular under Antonio Conte last season and made 27 Premier League appearances last term.
