Chelsea star defender Gary Cahill remains Galatasaray’s primary target this January despite recent links with Crystal Palace ace Jairo Riedewald.
The Lions are on the hunt for a new centre-back after failing to replace Jason Denayer over the summer. Galatasaray attempted to re-sign the Belgium international but were unable to strike a deal with Man City.
According to the Turkish outlet Fotospor, Cahill is Galatasaray’s primary target.
Per the source, club manager Fatih Terim is a huge fan of the 32-year-old and has instructed club officials to do everything they can to sign Cahillfor January.
Cahill has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge following the appointment of Maurizio Sarri.

The former England international has played just 21 minutes of Premier League football this season. Cahill’s contract with the Blues expires next summer.
