Chelsea news: Spanish international to reject £30m Serie A transfer, Turkish league giants plotting move

Cesc Fabregas has been closely linked with a Chelsea exit this summer.

Fabregas has started just 10 Premier League matches this season and following the arrival of £40m deal for Monaco star Tiemoue Bakayoko over the summer he would be expected to drop further down the pecking order.

Serie A giants AC Milan are prepared to pay as much as £30 million for Fabregas according to the Evening Standard.

The Milan based outfit were taken over by Chinese consortium, Rossoneri Sport Investment Lux, last month and are expected to spend heavily over the transfer window.

Per the source, Fabregas does not want to move to Italy.

The news has given Fabregas’ Turkish suitors a boost but none would be able to match the reported £30 million offer.

Galatasaray have set aside £4.6 million per-season for Fabregas according to Turkish daily Sozcu.

Lions boss Igor Tudor reportedly wants to use his friendship with former Juventus teammate – and current Chelsea boss – Antonio Conte to help push through the transfer.

Fabregas’ suitors could face a difficult task convincing him to make the move.

The reason he turned down a move to Italy was because he is settled in London with his partner Daniella Semaan, who has recently given birth to their third child.

Additionally Fabregas is paid around £170,000 a-week, which would be difficult to match for a Super Lig outfit.
