Kasımpaşa defender Kenneth Omeruo starred in his fourth consecutive game for the Istanbul minnows against Fenerbahçe on the weekend.
Fenerbahçe ended up winning the derby 1-0 but the on-loan Chelsea defender put in another impressive performance in defence.
Omeruo made the highest number of interceptions in the game (7) and dealt well with aerial balls making a total of five clearances.
Kasımpaşa dropped into 6th place in the league following the defeat but have the joint best defensive record alongside leaders Fenerbahçe having conceded just two goals.
The Paşalar have won two and lost two games this season – both losses were 1-0 defeats.
Omeruo joined Kasımpaşa from Chelsea on loan and the Süper Lig outfit have a future buy-out clause option to sign the 21-year-old on a permanent deal until next summer.
The 21-year-old defender was part of the Middlesbrough team that narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season.
The Istanbul based side take on Eskişehirspor away next weekend at the Atatürk stadium.
