Chelsea outcast Michy Batshuayi who has just one goal linked with move to Galatasaray
Turkish giants Galatasaray are preparing a summer move for Chelsea’s out-of-favour striker Michy Batshuayi.
According to the Mirror, the Blues are prepared to offload the Belgium international just 1 year after arriving from Marseille from £33m.
A source close to Galatasaray has told Turkish-Football that they are preparing a loan offer for the star striker and want to include an option to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
However, it is unlikely that Galatasaray will be able to match Chelsea’s valuation Batshuayi in the near future.
Per-the-source, the offer will only go ahead if Galatasaray qualify for the UEFA Champions League. Only the top two sides in Turkey gain entry to the Champions League and the Lion’s are currently in third place.
Batshuayi has struggled to settle into life at Stamford Bridge and is yet to start a Premier League game for Antonio Conte’s side. The 23-year-old striker has just one league goal to his name this season.
