Chelsea set £7m price tag for Nigerian international defender but valuation is scarring off interested clubs
Chelsea have set a £7 million price tag for defender Kenneth Omeruo according to reports from Nigeria.
The Blues valuation is however, putting off teams interested in the 22-year-old defender.
Several Turkish sides have been plotting a summer move for Omeruo but would not be prepared to match the Premier League champion’s asking price.

SCORENigeria quoted a source close to the player saying: “There are some clubs I Turkey who are interested in signing Kenneth at the end of the season.
“They will include Kasimpasa, who he played for last season, and also his current club Alanyaspor.
“But the snag will be if they could come up with the seven million pounds Chelsea want for the player.”
Omeruo is currently on loan at Alanyaspor who about to finish the season in a mid-table position.
The 23-year-old has been loaned out four times since joining Chelsea in 2008.
Kasimpasa loaned Omeruo last season and before that he enjoyed stints at Middlesbrough and Den Haag.
Omeruo has been growing increasingly frustrated with his role at Chelsea.
“It might happen that I get to play for Chelsea but it is no longer my immediate priority,” Omeruo told BBC Sport.
“You have no idea how frustrating it is to always go out on loan,” added the Nigeria defender.”
The Blues have 37 players out on loan across Europe, Omeruo is the Blues sole representative in the Turkish league.
