Fenerbahce have been closely linked with a move for Chelsea’s out-of-favour winger Victor Moses.

The Nigeria international has found himself on the periphery of the Chelsea squad following the appointment of Maurizio Sarri over the summer. Moses was a key member of Antonio Conte’s title-winning side back in 2016/17.

A source close to Fenerbahce has revealed to Turkish-Football that talks with both Chelsea and Moses’ representatives are underway.

Per the source, Fenerbahce are close to agreeing a deal with Chelsea to sign the Nigeria international on a permanent deal however, Moses wants a clause in his contract which stipulates his wages will be paid in full in the event that Fenerbahce are relegated from the Turkish Super Lig.

Furthermore, Moses wants a €200k bonus fee if he helps Fenerbahce avoid relegation.

Fenerbahce are currently enduring a nightmare season and are keen to bolster their squad over the January transfer window. The Yellow Canaries currently sit 17th in the leave with just 16 points.

President Ali Koc recently sacked Philippe Cocu and replaced his with Ersun Yanal.

Fenerbahce are back in action on THrusday evening when they take on Umraniye while their next League clash is against an in-form Yeni Malatyaspor.
