Chelsea target Hakan Calhanoglu sets social media alight with SaltBae celebration
Turkish international midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has set social media alight over the weekend after he pulled off the #SaltBae celebration during Bayer Leverkusen’s 3-1 victory over Hertha Berlin.
Calhanoglu lead his side to victory with a brace to defeat the side with the fifth-best defensive record in the division.

The free-kick maestro capped off his goals with a celebration honouring the Turkish meat chef Nusret Gokce.
Nusret created a social media storm at the start of the month after releasing a video on Instagram of him sprinkling salt into meat in quite a unique fashion.

Calhanoglu replicated the salt sprinkle following his goal and was joined by his fellow Turkish international Omer Toprak.

Defender Toprak also got himself on the scoresheet for Leverkusen’s opener after he fired home a goal from inside the six-yard box to get things going.
Calhanoglu’s first goal came from the penalty spot while he doubled his tally with a terrific volley just before full time.
Leverkusen
Leverkusen recorded their second win in their last seven Bundesliga games and have moved up into eighth place in the table.
Meanwhile Hertha Berlin dropped out of the Champions League spots following the defeat.
