Chelsea team news: Conte boosted by return of star defender

Chelsea will be looking to record their fifth win in a row when they take on Arsenal in the Premier League today.

The Blues sit in third place and know a victory could take them above Manchester United.

Meanwhile Arsenal also come into today’s clash high on confidence. Arsene Wenger’s side recorded a 3-0 win over Bournemouth last weekend and registered a 3-1 victory over FC Koln in the Premier League.

Chelsea team news:

Antonio Conte will be unable to call upon summer signing Danny Drinkwater who is sidelined with a calf injury. The England international also missed Chelsea’s 6-0 win over Qarabag during the week.

Star playmaker Eden Hazard made his first appearance of the season against the Azerbaijani side but is unlikely to start against the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Gary Cahill is likely to return to the starting eleven after a three-match ban. The experienced defender picked up a red card following a tackle against Burnley on the opening day of the season.
