Chelsea transfer news: Star defender & Besiktas target set for Monday transfer
Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge next week.
According to L’Equipe, the France international is set to join Stoke City on Monday.
However, the report also states that the 22-year-old will sign a new two-year deal with Chelsea.
The news comes as a blow to Besiktas who were also interested in Zouma’s signature. The Black Eagles are on the lookout for a new centre-back after offloading Marcelo to Lyon.

According to the Turkish outlet Futbol Arena, Zouma is high up on Besiktas’s transfer shortlist this summer. Per the source, Besiktas have asked Chelsea about the availability Zouma.
Zouma suffered a major set-back last year after suffering a serious knee injury.The young defender was unable to break back into the first team on a regular basis after returning to full fitness.
The France international’s place at Chelsea has been placed under further pressure following the signing of Antonio Rüdiger from Roma.
Zouma made 17 appearances for Chelsea last season.
