Chelsea vs Crystal Palace: Confirmed Line-ups – Blues Star Returns, Morata Benched For Giroud

Chelsea face Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday hoping to get back in the running for a top four spot.

The Blues are coming off the back of defeats against Manchester United and City.

The reigning Premier League champions have a poor record of late against the Eagles, losing their last two games at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was given a major boost heading into the clash as N’Golo Kante has returned after missed out last weekend.

Kante will start against the visitors but David Luiz and Ross Barkley are all out but and Ethan Ampadu has returned from injury and has been named on the bench.

Alvaro Morata meanwhile has been benched for Olivier Giroud.

Palace manager Roy Hodgson is facing an injury crisis heading into the clash with Joel Ward, Scott Dann, Yohan Cabaye, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jason Puncheon, Bakary Sako, Connor Wickham and Julian Speroni all still sidelined.

Star forward Wilfried Zaha has however, returned and has made the bench.

Benfica loanee Erdal Rakip will not be able to make his debut for the visitors as he as not been named in the match day squad.

Rakip is of Macedonian-Turkish descent and is eligible to represent Sweden – his country of birth – Macedonia and Turkey at senior international level.
