Chelsea’s Chilwell Linked to Turkish Trio

Chelsea full-back Ben Chilwell is the subject of interest from Turkish clubs Besiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray according to HITC.

The 27-year-old has fallen out of favor at Stamford Bridge and could be loaned out before the Turkish transfer window closes on September 13th.

Chilwell joined Chelsea from Leicester City in 2020 for a fee of £50 million. While he was a key player in the early years, injuries and the emergence of other players have limited his playing time.

Chelsea has been actively seeking to offload Chilwell this summer, with Manchester United and Brentford linked with the defender. However, a move to a Premier League club did not materialize before the transfer window closed.

The Turkish giants are now offering Chilwell the opportunity to continue his career in a new league. All three clubs are interested in signing the English full-back on a season-long loan.

Chilwell is reportedly considering his options and assessing the best move for his career. A temporary exit from Chelsea could provide him with the chance to revive his playing career and potentially secure a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge in the future.

Turkish clubs still have until 13 September to complete moves as the transfer window lasts longer than move European leagues.
